We are looking for a Hardware Asset Manager for a company in Gothenburg (Lindholmen). Start is ASAP, 6 months contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Lindholmen.
Background and Introduction
The client is looking for a Hardware Asset Manager that will be responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's inventory of physical IT assets, including computers, phones, and peripherals. The role involves lifecycle of hardware assets from procurement to disposal, ensuring accurate records of inventory levels, warranty information and assist in ensuring that our client and its customers is choosing hardware that is working according to user need and IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities and Duties
Monitor, handle, and follow up support cases related to hardware issues
Maintain an inventory of hardware assets, including computers, phones, peripherals
Develop and drive the hardware management process
Basic maintenance and setup of computers and phone management in Intune
Procurement and ordering of hardware
Support internal and external parties of choice of hardware that is working accordingly to related
IT infrastructure and user needs
Working close with end users at our client and customers to understand and predict hardware needs
Ensuring accurate records of stock levels, warranties, and maintenance schedules.
Maintain and develop the hardware lifecycle process
Responsible for creating, maintain and follow up on yearly budget for hardware
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
Help to Educate 1st and 2nd line in advance troubleshooting in related areas.
Work closely with end users and IT teams to understand problems and needs
Qualifications
Experience in managing relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Experience in support IT client hardware and peripherals
Kowledge of budget management
Knowledge in IT Infrastructure
Knowledge of an agile way of working
Knowledge of ITIL Framework
Knowledge of IT Asset Management Tools (ITAM)
Knowledge of using tools such as Jira, Azure Boards etc.
Organized and having good documentation skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
This role requires fluency in both Swedish and English.
Location
Onsite work 8.00-17.00 – 100% at the client's office in Lindholmen.
This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is ASAP, 6 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Lindholmen as described above.
