Your Role

As a Senior Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and strengthening modern Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.

You will work at the intersection of business and technology, transforming business requirements into scalable data models, insightful dashboards, and reliable analytical solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Building reusable and governed analytical solutions that enable self-service reporting.
• Developing and optimizing complex DAX measures and calculations.
• Designing dimensional data models, including star schemas, fact tables, and dimensions.
• Building data transformations and processing solutions using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Working with Microsoft Fabric capabilities such as Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks.
• Optimizing performance, data quality, and reliability across analytical solutions.
• Translating business requirements into meaningful KPIs and actionable insights.
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other technical teams.
• Contributing to modern data architecture, governance, documentation, and best practices.

Technical Skills & Experience

We believe you have:

• At least 6 years of experience within Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including enterprise reporting and semantic modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, including complex calculations, filter context, time intelligence, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, relationships, and data model design.
• Strong SQL skills for data transformation, analytical queries, and data validation.
• Practical experience with Python and PySpark for data processing and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, and Notebooks, or equivalent experience from modern Azure data platforms.
• Experience with Power Query and M language.
• Understanding of modern data architectures, including Delta Lake and Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers.
• Experience with data governance, security, and reusable analytical solutions.

Additional experience that is highly valued:

• Understanding of KPIs such as sales performance, average transaction value, basket analysis, and comparable sales.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git integration, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with governed self-service analytics and enterprise BI modernization.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required.
