Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator

Are you motivated by creating clarity, structure and processes that actually work? In this role, you support a technology-focused company in establishing its new European warehouse and logistics setup. You combine practical warehouse knowledge with coordination and process documentation in an environment where much is being built at the same time.

About the position

This is a full-time consulting assignment that lasts for 6 months.

About the company

The company is an international technology‑driven organization operating within the industrial and manufacturing sector. They are currently expanding their European operations and are building a new logistics function to support this growth. You become part of a small, cross-functional team that works closely together, with short decision paths and a shared commitment to building processes that support long‑term scalability.

Responsibilities

As Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator, you take a key role in coordinating the establishment of a new warehouse solution together with an external 3PL partner. You clarify operational needs, document processes and ensure that both internal teams and the 3PL partner have what they need to operate effectively.

You work broadly: gathering product and volume data, structuring process flows, supporting inventory control, documenting procedures and following up on activities that arise during an ongoing warehouse setup. The role suits someone who is comfortable taking ownership and enjoys working in an environment where routines and processes are not yet fully in place.

  • Coordinate warehouse setup activities and define operational requirements to the 3PL partner.

  • Create and maintain SOPs, checklists and documentation for warehouse workflows.

  • Collect product, packaging and forecast data for capacity and layout planning.

  • Perform inventory control, cycle counts and deviation handling together with the 3PL.

  • Support reporting, forecasting, communication and coordination between internal teams and the 3PL partner.

Education, experience and personal characteristics

  • Experience from warehouse start‑ups, logistics centers or similar operational environments

  • Previous experience from working with or within a 3PL environment

  • Solid understanding of warehouse processes (receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, inventory control)

  • Ability to create and work with process documentation/SOPs

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken

You work in a structured and reliable way and feel comfortable taking responsibility for your own tasks. You communicate clearly and enjoy coordinating between different internal and external stakeholders. You are good at turning information into concrete routines and appreciate working in a setting where processes are still being built. Your way of working is careful, systematic and grounded in facts and operational logic.
