Passive Safety CAE Engineer

Assignment Description

We are looking for a skilled Passive Safety CAE Engineer to contribute to the development and verification of advanced vehicle safety solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAE simulations and analyses related to pedestrian passive safety
• Conduct and support CAE and physical verification activities
• Perform interior head injury and free-motion headform analysis in accordance with FMVSS201U requirements
• Develop, evaluate, and optimize safety performance using LS-DYNA simulations
• Work with CAD models to prepare, review, and improve simulation setups
• Analyze simulation and test data to support engineering decisions and design improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development process

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of interior head injury assessment and free-motion headform analysis (FMVSS201U)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with LS-DYNA
• Good CAD knowledge and ability to work with vehicle geometry/models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pedestrian passive safety analysis and verification
