About the job
This service is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process takes place through Bravura and you are employed directly by the Sensrad.
About the company
Sensrad builds and develops one of the world’s most advanced radar sensors. Their 4D imaging radar provides thousands of detections in each frame, resulting in a much more complete description of the environment than competing solutions. Combined with the fact that radar works reliably in all weather conditions, the technology has attracted strong interest from customers across the globe.
The company serves a wide range of verticals, including heavy vehicles, drones, static installations for high-value infrastructure protection and intelligent traffic management. Customers span multiple industries and are located worldwide.
At Sensrad, you will join a highly skilled, cross-functional team of software engineers, signal processing experts, radar system specialists and hardware engineers. The culture is open, collaborative and technically driven, with a strong focus on engineering excellence, curiosity and long-term thinking.
Tasks and responsibilities
In this role, you take technical ownership of Sensrad’s radar hardware platforms and drive development from early concepts to production‑ready designs. You coordinate internal and external engineering efforts, ensuring progress, quality, and alignment across teams.
You lead hardware development projects, manage planning and prioritization, and act as the key technical interface toward external consultants and manufacturing partners. You contribute to system‑level discussions, balancing hardware, software, and signal‑processing requirements.
While larger design activities are carried out by external partners, you perform smaller updates and reviews in Sensrad’s ECAD environment and support prototype bring‑up, validation, and debugging together with the engineering team. You also ensure clear documentation and communication throughout the development process.
You will:
Own the radar hardware platforms from concept to production-ready design
Lead and coordinate hardware development projects and technical deliveries
Act as primary technical contact toward external engineering and manufacturing partners
Perform minor design updates/reviews and oversee larger external design efforts
Support prototype bring-up, validation, debugging, and documentation
Education, experience and personal characteristics
M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in hardware design and development
Experience with RF systems, high‑speed design, wireless technologies, or radar‑related hardware
Solid understanding of embedded hardware systems, including digital/analog design, power management, and common hardware interfaces
Hands-on experience with modern ECAD tools (OrCAD X, Altium Designer, or similar)
Valid Swedish B‑driving license and willingness to travel occasionally
Nice to have
Knowledge of signal integrity, impedance‑controlled layouts, or RF front‑end components
To succeed in this role, you are a structured and solution‑oriented engineer with a strong systems mindset. You enjoy maintaining an overview of the full product lifecycle while understanding enough technical detail to make well‑founded engineering decisions.
You communicate clearly, create alignment around priorities and expectations, and build trust through transparency and follow‑through. Coordinating work between internal and external stakeholders comes naturally to you.
At the same time, you remain hands‑on and pragmatic when needed—whether stepping into the lab, supporting debugging, or performing minor design updates to keep progress moving. You are curious, collaborative and thrive in an environment where you contribute to building something new together.
