The client is seeking a UX Designer to join a dynamic and innovation-driven environment focused on delivering high-quality digital solutions. The role is part of a global information management function that drives strategy, standards, and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
You will be working within agile, cross-functional teams at a Software Development Center of Excellence, collaborating closely with developers, testers, and product stakeholders. The position requires a strong user-centric approach, combining research, design thinking, and collaboration to create intuitive and effective user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research activities such as interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to gather insights.
- Translate user needs and research findings into clear, actionable design concepts and user journeys.
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for digital applications and tools.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma.
- Ensure consistency with established graphical guidelines while also enhancing and evolving existing design systems.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.
- Prepare and deliver design assets and graphics optimized for development use.
- Contribute to agile processes, including participation in design sprints, sprint planning, and iterative development cycles.
- Balance data-driven insights with creative intuition to support effective design decisions.
- Take ownership of design deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with overall product direction.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Figma and other UI design tools
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, usability testing, etc.)
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices
- Ability to interpret and apply graphical guidelines
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, or Design Sprint)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Additional (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Basic understanding of front-end development or coding
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within digital product environments
- Proven experience working in cross-functional agile teams
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Language Requirements:
- English – Proficient
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work onsite at least three days per week in Lund
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and advocate for user needs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovation-focused environment
Work Environment:
The role is based in Lund and requires a hybrid working model with a strong onsite presence. You will be part of a collaborative and agile team environment focused on delivering impactful digital solutions while continuously improving user experience standards.
