Mechatronics Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer within mechatronics with a strong focus on project deliveries, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier interaction. You will join a highly motivated R&D team responsible for developing powertrain solutions for both battery and petrol handheld products, aimed at forest and urban environments. In this role, you will be a key contributor in developing future products, combining technical depth with an ability to drive work forward in close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Create 3D and 2D designs of electromechanical components.
• Develop electromechanical concepts and support feasibility studies.
• Drive new development as well as improvements to existing products.
• Support squad and team deliveries, including internal collaboration and external supplier interfaces.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechatronics or mechanical design.
• Experience with design tools such as Catia.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Fluent in English.

• Interest in embedded systems and mechatronics.
• Experience developing high-volume products.
• Knowledge of electromechanical components, including wiring and PCB.
• Experience working closely with suppliers and/or customers.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
• Experience designing in light metals, and familiarity with machining and molding tools.
