Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Participate in system development activities from a software testing perspective
• Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test solutions
• Create and maintain test environments, simulators, and integrated system setups
• Perform troubleshooting, defect analysis, and issue reproduction
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including test specifications and reports
• Support requirements management and test case design activities
• Perform testing within product development projects related to chromatography and filtration systems
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineering teams
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support validation and verification activities across complex system environments

What You Bring

• University degree within Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar software testing role
• Documented experience with software testing in complex systems
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
• Strong experience with test case design and requirements management
• Experience working with simulators and integrated test environments
• Good understanding of network architecture and communication protocols
• Experience working within agile development environments
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Git including version management and branching strategies
• Experience working with ALM tools for requirements, test case, and defect management
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Fluent Swedish and English communication skills, spoken and written
• Ability to work onsite in Uppsala up to 5 days per week
