Our Exciting Opportunity
As a DevOps - System Verification & Support Engineer, you will be joining the team developing Ericsson’s Product Lifecycle Management System for Software (PLMS). The PLMS program is rethinking and radically improving product data handling for hardware-independent, cloud-native microservice-based products! The goal is to cater for the best possible support for our software business, by ensuring the integrity and traceability of software product data and exposing this data for use across the company!
You will
• Support applications in live operation and provide on-call support to users on issues and escalations.
• Build trust and working relationships with our User Community.
• Evolve/Build Integration and System test suites with latest feature set.
• Conduct Integration/System/Performance tests on legacy products and products under development. Analyze and provide recommendations.
• Test new features and collaborate with developers.
• Monitor and maintain application operation with associated underlying infrastructure.
• Perform upgrades and maintenance on application and infrastructure.
• Contribute to DevOps automation and improvements.
• Troubleshoot defects/incidents and follow-up resolution with the Dev team.
• Evolve applications towards Cloud-Native best practices.
To be successful in the role you must have
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in system testing and test automation.
• Strong hands-on expertise in load and performance testing of web applications and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter (or equivalent).
• Proficient knowledge & experience in integration technologies: Spinnaker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Helm, REST, JSON.
• Experience with scripting technologies such as Bash and Python.
• Experience developing applications using Java and Java-based frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Cloud native technology experience, preferably Microservice-based architecture.
• Knowledge and Technical Leadership experience with supporting products in a DevOps environment.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion to learn new technologies and embrace change.
You might also have
• Knowledge in Graph databases - Neo4j.
• Experience with Robot Framework for automation.
